Jump Associates

Jump Associates is a hybrid strategy firm focused on growth. They work with companies to create new businesses and reinvent existing ones. Over the years, Jump has worked with a variety of companies, such as GE, HP, Target, and Nike. Together, they’ve helped companies define profitable new growth platforms as well as build the systems, processes, and metrics to actually make significant change a reality. At the end of the day, Jump works with visionary business leaders to tackle big, ambiguous growth challenges--the kinds of things you don’t know how to face, but can’t afford not to.

Jump was founded in 1998 and was created to solve a new class of problem. Management consultants focus on strategy, design firms create new products, yet no one worked in the space where you need the qualities of both. Jump is optimized to tackle the kinds of persistent, highly ambiguous questions that keep great leaders up at night and send the common consultant running for the hills. Jump has two offices, one in San Mateo, California, and the other in New York.

From the Editor

Thanks for stopping by Fast Company’s Co.Design. If you’ve been a reader for some time, you’ll notice that we’ve just unveiled a brand-new redesign. You can read about the thought process behind it here. Our content, of course, will be the same: Our focus is on highlighting the world’s best examples of design and innovation, working in concert.

We started this site with a few simple premises in mind. First, design is a window onto the world at large, and the culture we live in.
