During Women’s Tennis Association matches, coaches only have 90 seconds to provide on-court training sessions to players during a match. Since 2015, coaches have been allowed to use mobile devices in these huddles, but the crucial data they were presenting via tablets was manually tracked and often inaccurate. SAP Tennis Analytics for Coaches compiles and analyzes real-time info from 10 on-court cameras, along with the umpire’s calls, then presents them in simple visualizations that both coach and player can read and understand at a glance—under bright sunlight, in the heat of the game—that helps both strategize the best way to win.
