Sound Transit University of Washington Station

Sound Transit University of Washington Station

Located at a busy intersection, the light rail station at the University of Washington is the end of a new line that connects the campus to downtown Seattle. The station integrates a pedestrian and biking bridge into the landscape, connecting to other popular trails for bike commuters. The entrance to the station lets in light to the middle level, and as riders descend to the platform, they can enjoy an art installation that echoes the layers of soil just outside the station’s walls.
