As Hilton’s reentry into the midscale hotel market, Tru by Hilton aims to mix up the hotel experience from the moment you enter the lobby. Called the Hive, the lobby is a 2,770-foot space filled with games, stadium-inspired seating, and large flat-screen televisions. A Build-Your-Own breakfast nook is tucked in the corner, complete with a sweet-and-savory toppings bar, allowing you to prove Apu from The Simpsons wrong: at Tru, a Jolly Rancher can be a donut sprinkle. The rooms aren’t shabby either. Featuring comfortable platform beds, large 55-inch TVs, and bright eight-foot windows, Tru aims to make business traveling fun and cheery, no matter where you are.
